Mark’s Story

Mark Mallie started his journey in motion design over fifteen years ago, working with agencies and production studios across the U.S. His work has been featured in brand campaigns, digital exhibitions, and video installations. But beyond his professional success, Mark has always been passionate about teaching. His dream was to create a space where creativity and skill development meet – and that’s how Mallie Design Academy was born.

Mark believes that motion design is more than just moving shapes; it’s about moving emotions. His teaching approach combines technical mastery with visual storytelling. Students learn to understand timing, composition, and rhythm as extensions of their creativity.

At Mallie Design, lessons are structured around real-world projects. Every assignment mirrors what you’d encounter in professional studios: client briefs, design challenges, and deadlines – but always with a supportive mentor guiding the process.

When Mark founded Mallie Design Academy in Miami, he envisioned a studio-school hybrid – where students wouldn’t just study design but live it. The academy uses a hands-on approach that emphasizes workflow, communication, and teamwork. Our space feels like a creative lab, filled with digital tools, storyboards, and energy.

Community & Mentorship
